Bill dirige un grupo de asesinas siniestras llamadas Deadly Viper Assassination Squad (o DiVAS); todas ellas tienen un nombre clave de alguna serpiente venosa y la más letal de todas es Black Mamba quien también es la novia formal de Bill. Black Mamba es traicionada por los demás, que la dan por muerta con un balazo en la cabeza. Sin embargo, cuatro años después, despierta del coma y jura venganza contra su maestro y su banda de asesinos internacionales.
