SINOPSIS: En pleno oeste americano, el joven Coffey se dispone a pedir en matrimonio a su amada cuando alguien asalta el rancho de ella y la secuestra junto a su familia. El chico, cual centauro del desierto, emprende un viaje para rescatarla con la ayuda de dos rancheros y un niño. Pronto descubrirán que la amenaza no parece encontrarse en los indios, sino en algo extraño que sale de las madrigueras.
